While in Kelowna, you can visit a Japanese garden, Kasugai Park. Kasugai Gardens was created in honor of Kelowna’s sister city, Japan. These gardens feature traditional Japanese elements, rock gardens, koi fish, lanterns, and waterfalls.

The city is home to several provincial parks, including the Mission Creek Regional Park. Many of the parks include walking and biking paths. They are also dog-friendly. During the summer, the park offers a range of entertainment options, including water slides, climbing walls, and a floating playground.

Another popular attraction is the Waterfront Park. The park is located on the banks of Okanagan Lake. It features a long paved trail, a sandy beach and art sculptures. You can also enjoy an afternoon of picnicking and a game of frisbee. There is a great view of the mountains from the park.
Another place to visit in Kelowna is the Big White Ski Resort. Located just an hour’s drive from the city center, this ski resort is a great place to spend a day. It offers runs for every level. During the winter, you can snowboard, ski, snowshoe and ice fish.
